Hi Everyone, I would like to share some resources and support that are available in the UK.

Carers UK - an organization that supports those who look after disabled loved ones. They provide guidance on rights, access to respite care, and even training programs for caring techniques. Their resources are designed to empower carers and ensure that they receive the support they need.

Disability Living Allowance (DLA)- financial support available to parents and carers is the Disability Living Allowance (DLA). This benefit is provided to children under 16 to help with the extra costs associated with their care. The amount is determined by how much care the child needs, no matter what the disability is.

Carer’s Allowance- available to those who care for someone with disabilities. This is available to people over 16 who spend at least 35 hours a week looking after someone who receives certain disability benefits. This…
